Linda Catalano presents "Chicken Running"
"Chicken Running," and was inspired by the (2000) film, "Chicken Run," by "Wallace and Grommit" creator Nick Park. It is constructed of a paper mache body and paper clay features. A blown-out chicken egg serves as the body armature. The legs are wound brass wire. The wing is stylized to denote motion.

Sharon Stavenhagen presents "Woody's Santa"

Woody's Santa is my sculpture piece for the

PMA groups 5th challenge. When Woody

of "Toy Story' thinks of Santa arriving, I

think this is what he would look like. He holds

2 candy canes for some lucky child. He is

entirely hand formed of instant paper mache

and stands 11" tall. To purchase this one

of a kind sculpture, visit sharonstavenhagen.etsy.com

Malissa Melrose presents "Every Time a Bell Rings..."
I created this piece using inspiration from the famous quote "Every time a bell rings an Angel gets his wings" from the timeless classic "It's A Wonderful Life".
This is an original paperclay and mixed media sculpture.  It is completely hand sculpted, distressed, and aged to look like an old treasure rediscovered.  The gold even has a faux patina. It is mounted on a distressed reclaimed wooden base. (I took it off of a tiki torch destined for the burn pile!)

Melanie Mercado presents "Go For An Adventure"

This Hot Air Balloon was inspired by the movie "Up" by Pixar.  It is one of my favorite cartoons with a wonderful story.  The balloon is a paper mache base covered with dozens and dozens of 1" plastic balloons.  The little house is made of cardboard, paper mache and paper clay with colorful acrylic paints and a gel medium coat.  The entire piece measures about 9"w x 18"h.  Visit my etsy site for more details and to purchase at www.wwwmannmnet.etsy.com.
